Game developer and publisher Ubisoft shared several new announcements at its E3 game showcase event, Ubisoft Forward. The event outlined trailers around upcoming content updates for existing games and some new titles in the mix. Going through the list of announcements, the highlights include Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. The company also shared information about new games like Riders Republic and Rainbow Six Extraction. Current games getting content updates include Watch Dogs: Legion, Rainbow Six Siege, For Honor, Trackmania, and Brawlhalla. The company also revealed updates for The Crew 2, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Ubisoft Forward 2021 E3 showcase announces titles, game updates

As noted above, Ubisoft shared information around both the new titles as well as currently available games. Let’s focus on the games already available in the market that will get new content this year. The game publish will launch cross-play and cross-save support on Rainbow Six Siege along with a new “North Star” story. It is also working on a new Bloodline expansion for Watch Dogs: Legion and season 2 for year 5 of For Honor. Trackmania players will also get Royal mode and World Cup and Brawlhalla will get a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event.

The company also teased content around the 20th anniversary of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. We also saw updates around The Crew 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Ubisoft emphasized that it would support Valhalla well into the second year with new content and expansions. This includes The Siege of Paris, “Discovery Tour: Viking Age” and more expansions in 2022. The company is also turning its Rocksmith franchise into Rocksmith+, an “interactive music learning subscription service.”

Moving to new games, the most important announcement was the showcase for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Ubisoft is using its Snowdrop engine to power the game and it has set 2022 as the launch date. It also revisited Far Cry 6 with a new gameplay video and a small slice of the story. Besides, the game developer also shared information around the Season Pass of the game with the return of past villains including Vaas, Joseph, and Pagan.
