The Beginning After the End returns for Season 2 in spring 2026, with Arthur Leywin’s new look revealed and the original team back for more magic and action

The Beginning After the End has now been officially confirm to return with Season 2 in spring 2026. Crunchyroll told this before the last episode of Season 1 is airing on June 18, which is this Wednesday. They also released a short sneak peek clip where Arthur Leywin’s new look is seen. It’s from the post-credit part at the end of final episode.
This anime, which based on a manga by TurtleMe, got a lot of attention since the beginning. And now they keep the same director, Keitaro Motonaga, who also has done The Kingdoms of Ruin. The animation still being done by studio A-CAT, so the visuals probably gonna stay similar like before.
Main Staff Will Stay the Same for Season 2
The staff who worked on Season 1 are coming back too. Takamitsu Kono is doing the series composition again, Masami Sueoka doing the character designs, and Keiji Inai will be making the music once more. These people helped shape the first season and many fans liked what they done.
TurtleMe, the writer of the original story, say he is excited for Arthur’s journey to go further. He said, “It’s been a big and surprising experience,” and told that Crunchyroll, Tapas, and A-CAT has worked all together well. He also told they focusing on growth in this new season. Arthur’s new design was showed too—he look more older and serious now.

The story is about King Grey, who dies and reborn again as Arthur Leywin in a world full of magic and strange things. He was born as a baby, but all memories from past life are still with him. Now he is learning magic and trying to not repeat mistakes he made before. It’s more than just power—it’s about correcting the past.
While fans waiting for the final episode of Season 1, now they have something else to look forward also. Season 2 is coming next year, and with the same team doing it, fans maybe won’t be disappointed.
